Reviews & Testimonials

★★★★★
"I hadn't picked up my clarinet since high school. Walked into a Thursday rehearsal nervous, walked out smiling. Six months later I'm playing parts I never thought I could. The patience and welcome from this group is something special."

"Our daughter wanted to play trombone but we couldn't afford one. The Foundation loaned her an instrument and she's been with the band for two years. The community here has given her more than music — it's given her confidence."

"Carl would be proud of what this Foundation has become. Every Thursday night feels like the original idea he had — anyone who wants to make music can. No auditions, no pressure, just play."

"I came to a Band Camp on a whim with a flute I bought twenty years ago and barely touched. By the end of the weekend I'd been welcomed by twenty people, learned three pieces, and signed up for Thursday rehearsals. Best thing I've done in a decade."
